Representative teams

2026 Country Teams will be played in the Ballarat district from the 14th - 16th September.

Golf East Gippsland teams of both Men & Women are selected from those players nominated by their club Captains and who meet the selection criteria as set by Golf Australia and Golf East Gippsland.

2026 Country Week

2026 Country Week was held in the Ballarat District with courses being Ballarat GC, Midlands GC and Buninyong GC. The three days of golf were played in freezing conditions and it was a testament to the course staff of each of those courses to have their respective courses presented in excellent condition.

Our women's team won 1 match with 3 losses but finished 4th overall to remain in Division 1 for 2027.

all their matches and finished on top of Division 2. As a result, they will be promoted to Division 1 next year.

Our Men's side again made the final of the Bowl Division but were anable to defeat the Dalhousie District losing 5/2 and will remain in The Bowl section for 2027.

Huge congratulations to both our teams and especially our junior representatives, Maddison Kelly (3 games), Cooper Rimington (4) who both remained undefeated for the week.

To our players, caddies and spectators, thank you for enduring the most inhospitable weather were feels like temperature was minus 1 at times.
