The PGA supported #doingitforjarrod fundraiser to raise money for Challenge (Supporting kids with cancer) was embraced by South Pines Golf Club during their recent Club Championships.
The club donated the 'fines' money over the three rounds and on the last round requested members make a golf coin donation. Food was sold with the takings donated, together with Leuk the Duck merchandise. The Junior Clinic also donated the fees collected for the mornings clinic and in total, $500 was raised.
SPGC urges all clubs to get behind this worthy cause and try and better their total raised.
