Apologies for the late posting advising the passing of Dale Cadd.
Posts have been made of the GEG facebook page and we have since been sent this wonderful photo of Dale on the celebration of his 50 year membership of the PGA Australia.
Golf in East Gippsland owes a huge dept of gratitude to Dale who willingly gave himself to many of our clubs in the tuition of future golfers, be they young children or the seasoned golfer that was forever trying to find the magic move.
Dale was the long time professional at Bairnsdale and a number of his protégés made the move to Professional ranks. He was the catalyst for many of us commencing our love of the game. All at GEG pass on our deepest sympathy to his children, Adrian and Vivien. He was a unique individual who brought a smile to all those who had the privilege to meet him.
