MyGolf Sporting Schools Program

| PGA Professionals and Community Instructors play a key role in the delivery of the MyGolf Sporting Schools program. Sporting Schools is a $280 million Australian Government initiative designed to help schools to increase children's participation in sport, and to connect them with community sporting opportunities. Any school can register and apply so there is sure to be a local school in your area that could be looking to run a Sporting Schools program, so now is your chance to make sure it is MyGolf.

Sporting Schools funding applications for open Term 3 Monday 23 May, and will be open for two weeks until Friday, 3 June!

Now is the time to get in touch with your local schools, encourage them to apply and let them know you are keen to deliver their MyGolf Sporting Schools program.
Coaches receive payment (approx. $90 - $120 per session) for their time but most importantly can create a pathway for children to transition into your local MyGolf Club program. Schools will be able to apply for Sporting Schools funding as of Monday, 23 May. **If you are interested in potentially delivering a MyGolf Sporting Schools program, it is recommended that you get into contact with your local school to see if they would be interested in applying for the funding and then having you deliver their program, or contacting your State/Territory Sporting Schools coordinator (below) to become part of the coaching network.** Please note: To be eligible to deliver a Sporting Schools program, you must be a qualified PGA Professional OR hold a current Community Instructor Accreditation. You must also be able to provide and maintain a valid State/Territory Working with Children Clearance.
